2001 IRONHORSE LINE CRANKS UP POWERFUL DESIGN, WARRANTY

FORT WORTH, Texas (August 22, 2000) —American IronHorse Motorcycle Co. has rolled out its 2001 model year line, which showcases a new set of high-performance designs and several customer-oriented features. Among the changes, American IronHorse is adding an unlimited mileage warranty package on all its bikes and is increasing the minimum factory engine size to a heavy hitting 107 cu. in. motor.

"We're on a roll," said Tim Edmondson, president and co-founder of American IronHorse. "The word keeps spreading that American IronHorse builds the best bikes on the market and that we give motorcycle enthusiasts what they really want — power, attention to detail, the most value for the dollar and a great-looking bike."

Edmondson said American IronHorse's 2001 line provides customers with more standard custom features, image-conscious architecture and improved performance. All 2001 models will now come with high-precision electronic VDO speedometers and polished engine cylinders and heads.

As for warranty enhancements, all 2001 motorcycles built with the factory S&S® 107 cu. in. engine are backed by American IronHorse's new three-year, unlimited mileage warranty program. Those with 113 cu. in. motors will carry the company's one-year, unlimited mileage plan. American IronHorse is only the industry's second custom manufacturer to offer an unlimited warranty package. It was the first to provide a factory backed warranty versus one handled by third parties.

Some 2001 designs, such as the Outlaw and the Slammer, will unveil a smooth, one-piece stretched fuel tank instead of a dual tank. The Slammer has an altogether new look with saber-tooth fenders and dual disk front brakes. The Bandit, American IronHorse's touring model, will come with floorboards.

American IronHorse said retail prices for its 2001 line will range from $21,900 to $33,500. This reflects a price increase on some of its 2001 models and a lower cost bracket for two new entry-level 2001 models, the TEJAS and RANGER, which were recently introduced in Sturgis. Motorcycles designed from American IronHorse's very high-end Signature Series line are individually built and priced.

Founded in 1995, American IronHorse designs and builds 10 high-end, high-performance customized touring and cruiser motorcycle models. The Fort Worth manufacturer sells its bikes through more than 50 dealerships and company stores across the nation. American IronHorse motorcycles are also the main showcase at two motorcycle-themed restaurant/bars called Rider's World located at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
